Saw a good documentary last night called "TILT" - pretty neat, talks about the challenges pinball - specifically Williams faced in the '90s and how they came to build "Revenge From Mars". If you were playing pins in the 90's this will click with you, spending a good deal of the 90's with a beer on the glass of my favorite pin - FIRE by Williams at the Lion's Lair with Boyd Rice spinning - this one hits home.

The Lambretta Li 150 Series 3 offered here is the actual machine ridden by Phil Daniels’ character, James 'Jimmy'' Cooper in the 1979 film, 'Quadrophenia', inspired by The Who’s double album of the same name. After filming finished, the 'Jimmy Bike' was sold to scooter dealers Rafferty Newman and put on display in the window of their shop in Portsmouth. It was subsequently purchased by Eddie Harris who then sold it on to Paul Marsh, both these owners being Portsmouth residents. So rad.

Wray’s primal guitar influenced a generation of rockers including Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, the Kinks, Jimmy Page and Neil Young. Bob Dylan called "Rumble" the "greatest instrumental ever." Pete Townshend said, "... if it hadn’t been for Link Wray and ‘Rumble,’ I would have never picked up a guitar."
